Barça to Host First Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday
Barcelona have announced their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in domestic competition over two years after they moved out to allow renovations to start.

The stadium will not be at full capacity with 45,401 fans can be present under the licence granted. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

They mentioned they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body to play their next home Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt on 9 December at Camp Nou.
